Where do I find my CSV file?

PayPal

  1. Sign in at paypal.com on a computer.
  2. Click Activity, then All Reports. (Older layout: Activity, then Statements, then Custom.)
  3. Choose Activity download or a custom statement, set the transaction type to All transactions, pick your date range, and set the format to CSV.
  4. Click Create Report, then Download once it’s ready.

A report covers up to 12 months at a time. Large ones can take a while, and PayPal may email you when they’re ready.

Venmo

  1. Sign in at venmo.com on a computer.
  2. Click Statements in the left sidebar.
  3. Pick a month and year from the drop-down.
  4. Click Download CSV.

Venmo exports one month at a time, going back about three years. Download each month you need, then add all the files here together.

Square

  1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard on a computer.
  2. Click Transactions and choose your date range.
  3. Click Export and pick the Transactions CSV (one row per sale).

Skip the Items and item-details exports because they don’t include fees. Deposits and Square Card activity are separate exports.

Cash App

  1. Sign in at cash.app/account in a computer browser.
  2. Open Activity or Statements.
  3. Choose Export CSV (or Download) and pick CSV, not PDF.

The phone app only offers PDF statements, so use a browser. Cash App may email you the file.

Menus change from time to time, so names may differ slightly. Save every file you download, then add them all here at once.
